Defining your default account in Sparrow Go to Preferences > Account. Drag and drop your mail accounts to re-order them the way you want. Re-ordering accounts in Preferences re-orders them in Sparrow’s sidebar. Placing one account on top of the list tells Sparrow this is the default one . Sparrow will  always use this address by default when composing a new message.

Disabling the Priority Inbox
If you want to disable the Priority Inbox in Sparrow, here is what you can do: Go to your Gmail Web app Settings > Labels and Untick the ‘Show in IMAP‘ corresponding to the ‘Important’ label. Wait 5 minutes for the change to be taken into account by Sparrow and restart the app. Priority Inbox markers should have disappeared.

Start hidden at login
To launch Sparrow when starting up your Mac, do the following: In Sparrow Preferences, make sure that you have ticked the ‘Start Sparrow at login’ option. And in your System Preferences > Account > Log In Items, tick the Sparrow corresponding box as seen below:

  To open the Message Panel, simply press ⟶ to open and ⟵ to close it. No need to remember long shortcut ⇧+⌘+T.

In Sparrow, you can choose to attach images either inline or as a classic attachment. Drag & dropping an image to the bottom of the compose window will add the image as a classic attachment. Drag & dropping an image in the upper part of the window or in the text will add it as an inline attachment. You can also use the ⇧-⌘-A .
