You can sort mails in the conversation in ascending or descending order.

By default, Sparrow shows the newest message on top but you can reverse it.

Go to Advanced Preferences and tick the ‘Show older message first’ option as shown above.

Sparrow 1.5 introduces Dropbox support for attachment.

Go in Sparrow’s “Preferences”
Click on the “Services” tab

Log out from CloudApp (if needed)
Click on Dropbox & enter your credentials
You’re all set

Once you have activated CloudApp in Sparrow, here are the basics of how it works:

Dragging and dropping attachments in the composer will directly upload it with CloudApp.
Dropping an attachment to the bottom of the compose window will attach the file the classic way.

Using the Attachment button in the top-left corner will always upload files the old classic way.

Dragging and dropping attachments on Sparrow’s dock icon will opens a new composer and upload the file with CloudApp.

Pressing ‘Cmd’ while dragging and dropping a file in the composer will attach it the classic way.

Defining your default account in Sparrow

Go to Preferences > Account.

Drag and drop your mail accounts to re-order them the way you want. Re-ordering accounts in Preferences re-orders them in Sparrow’s sidebar.

Placing one account on top of the list tells Sparrow this is the default one . Sparrow will always use this address by default when composing a new message.

If you want to disable the Priority Inbox in Sparrow, here is what you can do:

Go to your Gmail Web app Settings > Labels

and

Untick the ‘Show in IMAP‘ corresponding to the ‘Important’ label.

Wait 5 minutes for the change to be taken into account by Sparrow and restart the app.

Priority Inbox markers should have disappeared.

Sparrow 1.3 brings you a precious tool to reach inbox zero: Send & Archive.

Just tick the ‘Enable Send & Archive’ in Sparrow Advanced Preferences and you’re done.

Once activated, the Send & Archive will respond to usual Send shortcuts in Sparrow. Pressing ⇧-⌘-D and ⌘-Enter will make the message you’re responding to and your reply disappear from your inbox in a glimpse.

go to Preferences > Organize and click the ‘+’ button.

You can choose the color of your label by clicking the colored square on the left side and picking any color you like from the color wheel.

In Sparrow 1.2.1, the sorting bar has been hidden by default. You can activate it through Sparrow Advanced Preferences as described above.

The Sorting bar allows you to easily toggle between your unread mails and your inbox.

Right-clicking on a message and selecting ‘Mark as unread’
Use the ⇧-⌘-U shortcuts
Or simply clicking on the blue dot
